DUE 2013 Call for papers

The DUE Conference Convenor has announced a Call for Papers to be submitted for the Domestic Use of Energy (DUE) 2013 Conference to be held in Cape Town, 2-4 April 2013. All submissions can be made via the User resources page on this website using the information provided below:

Theme: Relieving Pressure on the Grid

The purpose of this theme is for the conference to focus on ways to reduce the pressure on the electrical grid by initiatives such as improving energy efficiency, fuel switching, renewable energy and mini-grids. Energy Efficiency Programmes such those initiated by Eskom EDI and local authorities fit very well into this theme. The objective will be to come up with new and innovative ideas to enhance these programmes.

Four weeks after submission:Acceptance/rejection of paper:
14 March 2013:Powerpoint presentations for the workshop.
